Space Between’s conjoined cardigan with knit binding centre back, is made out of up-cycled black merino corporate uniform waste. The ‘previous life’ garment was an NZ Post black sleeveless wrap with tie. The binding on the centre back is made with end of stock merino, which is made in New Zealand. The garment has ties and two pockets made of the contrast merino fabric.
This garment is zero waste and can be worn multiple ways as the extra armholes allow for flexibility of wear and use. We hope that this extends your engagement with this garment and lengthens its lifespan. It is made using the conjoined technique as developed by Space Between (Jennifer Whitty and Holly McQuillan).
Main fabric: 100% merino knit (up-cycled from corporate uniforms).
Knit piping: 100% Merino (end of stock).
Garment manufacturing: Made in New Zealand by the not for profit, Earthlink Apparel.
