Space Between’s spliced dress with drawstring back feature is made out of up-cycled grey polyester corporate uniform waste. The ‘previous life’ garment used was the NZ Post ‘short sleeved tie back blouse’. The bias binding on the front panel and used around the middle section is made with an end of stock jersey, which is made in New Zealand. The garment has a tie back to allow for more fit. This garment is made using the spliced technique as developed by Space Between (Jennifer Whitty and Holly McQuillan).
Main fabric: 100% polyester (up-cycled from corporate uniforms).
Binding: Red cotton - 100% Cotton (end of stock) sourced locally.
Garment manufacturing: Made in New Zealand by the not for profit, Earthlink Apparel.
