Anna Hicks created her brand HIX as a sustainable fashion textile artist who loves using pre-loved wool & a variety of handcraft techniques to create wearable art garments.Currently managing Nancy's Embroidery Shop (Wgtn) and teaching handcraft classes as a way of promoting slow fashion. She is passionate about the continuation of traditional handcraft skills, the health benefits of doing crafts. She was on the committee for producing the launch/fashion revolution event and thinking about completing her Masters under the Space Between enterprise, looking at the health benefits of craft and using the left over scraps from other designers to produce patchwork garments from their waste.
