Space Between Crowdfunds: #PledgeForLarissa
Following months of blood, sweat, and tears, we’re super excited to announce that today marks the start of our crowdfunding campaign! In partnership with the Low Carbon Challenge, we will be asking you, our crowd, to help us raise $10,000 over the course of a month. With this money, we will be hiring our much loved designer Larissa Banks to help us grow Space Between into the waste-eliminating, world-changing, wonderful business we all know it can be.
So, why crowdfunding?
Crowdfunding is an online fundraising tool that enables projects like ours to reach out to our crowd (our friends, family, colleagues, and communities) to raise the money we need.
Instead of heading to the bank or getting big investors on board, we’ve decided to go straight to the people who know us best; you. Whether you’ve been with us from day one or have just stumbled across us this week, we want your help in taking the next step in our sustainable fashion journey.
How does it work?
We’ve set a goal of $10,000; that’s enough to hire Larissa for approximately 10 hours a week for a full year. If you love what we do and would like to see Larissa do what she loves, please head to our campaign and make a pledge.
In return, we’ve got some awesome rewards up for grabs. Personalised dance moves, handmade goodies, tickets to Space Between workshops - and more! We only get to keep the money if we reach or exceed our $10,000 goal in time, so whether you’re pledging one dollar or a million, every cent helps.
